Rusila Van Deun
Singing has always been a significant passion for Rusila Van Deun. She made her debut in the Christchurch music scene at the age of 19 and has never looked back. From participating in NZ Idol to performing on stage at the Town Hall, Rusila’s journey has been remarkable. In 2013, she formed Corner Sounds, which quickly became one of the top cover bands in Christchurch. With over 1,000 weddings under her belt, she is highly experienced in understanding what clients need for their special events. Rusila has the ability to sing any song presented to her, providing an unparalleled experience for her audiences. special events.

For a man of few words, Shaun Burke has a massive sound. A multi-instrumentalist and composer, the Otautahi musician has gained over a decade of experience performing live in New Zealand, Australia and the United States since completing a bachelor of musical arts in 2012. Shaun's electrifying presence on stage brings an unparalleled sense of time, groove and hypnotic hair flicks to every performance. Competent on electric and upright bass, his thunderous tones and lightning-quick fingers lay the foundations for the rest of the band to shine.

Steven Gill // Guitar
Steven has been a prominent figure in the Christchurch music scene since relocating from his hometown of Timaru in 2011. After honing his skills in rock and blues, he graduated from Ara and discovered a passion for jazz. Steven brings a unique sound to the band, characterized by incredible tones and rhythms that truly brings the music to life.

Despite his Kiwi roots, Sam's adventurous spirit led him to explore the world and live abroad for the majority of his life. For over 25 years Sam has played music throughout North America, Canada, Asia and for the last 12 years Dubai UAE. Sam is also a drum teacher and the proud owner of Ōtautahi Drums, a Drum tuition studio based in Christchurch New Zealand
